Kids single hand henna stencil

Materials Needed

• Henna paste: You can make your own or purchase our homemade henna cones.

• Henna stencils: These are adhesive stickers designed for body art.

• Coconut oil: For moisturizing and extending the life of your henna design.

• Paper towels: For cleaning up excess henna.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Stencil:

• Cut the stencil to your desired size if necessary.

• Peel off the backing to expose the adhesive side of the stencil. 
  
  

2. Apply the Stencil:

• Firmly press the stencil onto clean, dry skin where you want the design. Ensure it adheres well to avoid any gaps.

3. Fill in the Stencil:

• Remove the needle tip from the henna cone or cut it little so henna paste can come through and fill in the stencil with a thin layer of henna paste. Use a spatula or the cone itself to spread the paste evenly. 
  
  
• For a richer colour, apply a thicker layer of henna (about 0.5-1mm thick). 

4. Let it Dry:

• Keep the area still for at least 20 minutes while the henna dries. For a darker stain, leave the paste on for 2 to 8 hours, do not wrap the area in cling wrap, gloves or any plastic or material which can make it sweaty and ruins your design, instead in emergency use of hands wrap paper towel or toilet paper carefully to prevent it from rubbing off.

5. Remove the Stencil:

• Once the henna has dried and reached a crackly state, carefully peel off the stencil. Use coconut oil and a paper towel to remove any excess henna paste from your skin. 
  
  

6. Aftercare:

• Avoid water on the henna design for the first few hours to allow the color to set. In cold weather we recommend to apply some "vicks vaporub" just 1-2 times while dried henna paste is on or after scrapping it of to keep the area warm as warmness helps the colour getting darker. Continue to apply coconut oil or olive oil or mustard oil to moisturized and extend the life of your henna tattoo after removing henna paste.

• Use Pure Henna: Always opt for 100% pure organic henna powder to avoid skin irritation and achieve the best colour. 
  
  
• Patch Test: If you have sensitive skin, perform a patch test before applying henna to larger areas.
